The Russian (formerly Soviet) Bandy League' hosts the national championship competition of bandy played in Russia. It was split into East and West Divisions until the 2009-10 season which saw 17 teams in 1 group. The team SKA Neftyanik from Khabarovsk is both the easternmost and southernmost team in the League.
